40th National Convention of the Philippine College of Occupational Medicine Inc.

“Atty. Rey Destura was  one of the four (4) panelist last March 24, 2018 in the 40th National Convention of the Philippine College of Occupational Medicine Inc. held at the grand ballroom of Manila Hotel.  Of the four invited panelist, Atty. Rey represented People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) which was requested by PCOM for a representation in the convention.  Atty. Rey, as a member of the Industrial Relations Committee of PMAP and former Human Resource executive,  shared his HR experience and legal views in relation to the issue of setting up an effective Drug Free Work Program, as required by the current regulations of the Departement of Labor and Employment (DOLE).  The other three (3) panelist came from the Bureau of Woking Condition of DOLE, representative from the Association of Safety Practitioners in the Philippines Inc., and an Occupational Health Safety medical practitioner from PCOM. The agenda during the panel discussion focused on the theme: “Health and Safety Committee in Sync: Developing Alliances at Work (Case Presentation)”.
